February has been a big month for Agtonomy!

  • Agtonomy unveils TeleFarmer™ solution for specialty crop farmers.  TeleFarmer empowers farmers to remotely execute labor-intensive field tasks such as weeding, spraying, mowing and transporting. The solution is a game changer for many specialty crop farmers who are battling crippling labor shortages and associated rising costs. “With TeleFarmer, farmers can essentially clone themselves to plan and perform tasks in multiple locations and even troubleshoot those tasks from wherever they are”, said Bucher. “Using the app, they can follow along, track progress, check the health of equipment in the field and review reports to make changes for maximum efficiency on subsequent tasks.”
  • Agtonomy partners with wine producers Silver Oak Cellars and Treasury Wine Estates to pilot launch of TeleFarmer. Agtonomy’s software and tele-guidance technology, TeleFarmer™, will aid Silver Oak in their commitment to sustainable farming practices. The TeleFarmer™ solution consists of innovative software, a suite of apps and an electric vehicle (EV) reference tractor. The solution allows specialty crop farmers to remotely manage and execute day-to-day farming tasks more efficiently and with more precision, all while keeping the farmer in control. The TeleFarmer™ solution helps address labor challenges and reduce a farm’s overall carbon footprint.
  • Agtonomy partners with Bobcat Company.
