Brook Porter
With over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology and sustainability, Brook has accumulated deep expertise as an entrepreneur turned investor across the industrial segments of energy, transportation and agriculture. As a founding partner of G2 Venture Partners, he brings a passion for helping entrepreneurs achieve ambitious visions for scale and impact.
Prior to G2, Brook was a Partner at Kleiner Perkins’ $1B Green Growth Fund. He was directly involved with investments in Turo, Proterra, Farmers Edge, Uber, and DJI. At G2 Brook has partnered with portfolio companies Luminar, Trove, Pivot Bio, Lumafield, and Waabi.
Before joining Kleiner Perkins, Brook co-founded two sustainable transportation companies: Intelligent Energy, a fuel cell technology company and Primafuel, a low-carbon fuels company.
Brook holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, with an emphasis in environmental technology.
