Danny Bernstein
Danny Bernstein is CEO of the Reservoir, an agricultural technology incubator and evergreen venture capital fund developed in partnership with John Deere, Western Growers, and the State of California. Reservoir's mission is to build long-term resilience in specialty crops and agricultural regions through technology.
Before founding the Reservoir, Danny spent a decade at Google as Managing Director in the Global Business Organization and later at Microsoft as a Partner. He joined Google through an acquisition (Meebo, $100M). Danny has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, the BBC, TechCrunch, the Silicon Valley Business Journal, the Sacramento Bee, AgTech Navigator, and AgFunder. He has spoken at World AgriTech, CES, Organic Growers Summit, FIRA USA, AgriControl, Grand Farm’s Autonomous Nation, and the California Economic Summit. Danny has also been a guest on leading podcasts, including MyAgLife, Slice of Agriculture, The Packer, and Western Growers’ Voices of the Valley. He serves on Fresno State's Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Dean's Advisory Board.
He studied at the University of California, Davis, and completed the executive program at Stanford Graduate School of Business. He lives in Carmel Valley, CA, with his wife and two children.
