Dave Friedberg is CEO of Ohalo Genetics, which aims to accelerate evolution to unlock nature's potential. Ohalo's Boosted Breeding system provides unprecedented improvements in crop yields that may otherwise take millennia to achieve with traditional breeding methods, with the potential to realize unimaginable productivity gains for farmers, improve humanity's access to calories, and reduce the global footprint of agriculture. Dave is also CEO of The Production Board, a venture foundry that builds and invests in technology businesses in food, agriculture, and life sciences, including Ohalo. Prior to Ohalo and TPB, he was founder and CEO of The Climate Corporation, the world's leading digital agronomy platform, today used by farmers across 200+ million acres worldwide. Monsanto acquired The Climate Corporation in 2013, when Dave joined Monsanto (now Bayer) as a member of the executive leadership team. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in Corporate Development and Product at Google and graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics.
