Prof. Dr. Klaus Palme is CSO and co-founder of ScreenSYS, where he leads scientific strategy and R&D translation for advanced plant biotechnology. He previously served as Executive Director of the Institute of Biology at the University of Freiburg (2010 to 2014) and led the Department of Molecular Plant Physiology. His research focuses on auxin biology and how plants integrate hormonal and environmental signals to control development. He is a recipient of the Max Planck Research Award for International Cooperation.
